I Need to Lose 20 PoundsPrior to getting pregnant, I was happy with my figure. Basically, I liked what I saw when I looked in the mirror. I allowed myself to gain more weight than necessary when I was pregnant. Since I was wearing larger clothes, it was harder to know whether the extra weight was baby weight or fat weight. Also I developed an attitude that it would not be that difficult to lose. Wow, was I ever wrong! I managed to keep 30 extra pounds. After loosing 10 pounds fairly easily, I'm now desperate to lose the final 20 pounds. If I could somehow discipline myself to lose 20 pounds and keep it off, I would be incredibly happy. I want to like what I see when I look in the mirror again. Now, I cringe. All I see are my problem areas. My Goal to Lose 20 Pounds in 10 WeeksBecoming a mother and having a colicky baby stressed me out incredibly. A lot of changes occurred in my life and I often felt quite depressed. While feeling down, I used food for comfort. That was a huge mistake, especially when I am needing to lose 20 pounds. I could lose a little bit more than that but I decided to set my first goal at 20 pounds. |
